BELLEVILLE — A motorist filed a Dram Shop suit against another driver and organizers of the Second Annual Witch Bus Fly after she was allegedly injured in a crash.

Kimberly Rhodes and Michael Rhodes filed a complaint on Oct. 3 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Karban Enterprises LLC, Allison Ramsey, et. al., alleging they unlawfully sold alcoholic beverages to intoxicated patrons.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Oct. 21, 2017, Ramsey became intoxicated while participating in the Second Annual Witch Bus Fly and caused a collision with Kimberly Rhodes' vehicle.

Kimberly Rhodes claims she sustained injuries and damages and Michael Rhodes became liable for his wife's medical and healthcare expenses. The plaintiffs also claim they suffered loss of support, and society of each other.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek damages of more than $50,000, plus costs and all other relief as the court deems just and proper. They are represented by Alan G. Pirtle and Lisa Tsacoumagos of Brown & Croupen PC in St. Louis.
