EDWARDSVILLE — A motorist is suing a driver who allegedly ran a red light. 

Tommie Myers filed a complaint on Oct. 15 in Madison County Circuit Court against Sean Lintz, special administrator of the estate of Edward Anderson, alleging the decedent failed to keep his automobile under proper control.

According to the complaint, the decedent ran a red light at the intersection of 6th Street and Edwardsville Road in Wood River and collided with the plaintiff's vehicle. 

Myers claims she suffered injuries to her face, head and both knees, the complaint states. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for more than $50,000, plus costs. He is represented by Michael P. Glisson and Timothy J. Chartrand of Williamson, Webster, Falb and Glisson in Alton, IL.
