EDWARDSVILLE — A hospital accuses a couple of failing to pay their medical bills.
Granite City Illinois Hospital Company LLC, which operates the Gateway Regional Medical Center, filed a complaint on Oct. 17 in Madison County Circuit Court against Barbara J. Dixon and Chubeto Dixon.
According to the complaint, the defendants allegedly failed to pay an outstanding balance of $72,805.57 for medical services.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants for $72,805.57, plus $500 in attorney fees and costs. It is represented by Richard A. Mixson of Miller and Steeno PC in St. Louis.
