EDWARDSVILLE — A motorist alleges he was injured in a Granite City collision.
Scott Meyer II filed a complaint on Oct. 16 in Madison County Circuit Court against Darrell Comer, alleging that the driver failed to keep his vehicle under proper control.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges the defendant turned directly in front of his vehicle, causing a collision near 25th Street in Granite City.
Meyer claims he suffered injuries, including but not limited to fractures, sprains, muscle spasms and contusions.
The plaintiff alleges the defendant failed to keep proper lookout and stop his vehicle to avoid the collision.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant in an amount exceeding $50,000, plus costs. He is represented by Morgan Scroggins of Scroggins Law Office in Granite City.
