BELLEVILLE — An insurance company faces a lawsuit from a St. Clair County resident over proceeds from a life insurance policy.
Maureen Miller filed a complaint on Sept. 19 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Globe Life and Accident Insurance Company.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is the beneficiary of a life insurance policy. She claims the insurance company failed to pay out the insurance benefits due to her.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in her favor for the sum of $60,000, plus interest, costs and all other just and proper relief. She is represented by Steven S. Fluhr of Fluhr & Moore LLC in St. Louis.
