Abbott Machine and employee face lawsuit over crash

EDWARDSVILLE — A truck driver blames a Dorsey resident and his employer for an accident in Granite City.

Tsaro M. Meneh filed a complaint on Sept. 6 in Madison County Circuit Court against Abbott Machine and employee Ranson G. Kessinger.

According to the complaint, Meneh was traveling southbound on Route 3 in Granite City when Kessinger crashed into the rear of his vehicle. Meneh claims he sustained injuries to his back and shoulder. The Ford F-150 driven by Kessinger belongs to his employer, Abbott Machine, the complaint states. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $50,000, plus costs of this action. He is represented by Keith Short and Jack Daugherty of Short & Daugherty PC in Alton.
