EDWARDSVILLE — A woman blames another motorist for causing a crash on South Vandalia in Collinsville.
Melissa Bailey filed a complaint on Aug. 1 in Madison County Circuit Court against Carla M. Barnes, alleging she failed to control her vehicle.
According to the complaint, Barnes slammed into the back of Bailey's vehicle while she was stopped South Vandalia and West County Lane. She claims she suffered extensive injuries to her head, neck, shoulders, soft tissues, ligaments and nerves.
Barnes requests a jury trial and seeks damages of more than $50,000. She is represented by John H. Hustava of John H. Hustava in Collinsville.
