Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale lawyers recognized by Best Lawyers in America

ST. LOUIS –– The 2019 edition of Best Lawyers in America will feature 38 lawyers representing Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale PC, the law firm announced this month.

Four of those attorneys also received "Lawyers of the Year" distinctions.

In every city, the “Lawyer of the Year” designation is awarded to a single practicing attorney in each area of the law. Greensfelder’s “Lawyers of the Year” are John W. Dillane, Andrew W. Manuel, Daniel J Schwartz and Leonard D. Vines.  

Dillane focuses on health care law, representing both hospitals and physicians. He a former member of Greensfelder’s board of directors and previously was employed as president of the firm. He occasionally teaches classes at the Washington University in St. Louis.  

Manuel, a former mechanical engineer, specializes in construction law. He has a wealth of experience in litigating high-profile cases and received numerous awards.  

Schwartz works with his clients on all facets of employment law. He served as primary counsel on multiple ERISA lawsuits. In 2017, he represented a client in front of the U.S. Supreme Court.  

Vines is an expert in the area of franchise law. He’s provided counsel to large and small-scale franchisers. He was invited to speak in front of the American Bar Association Forum Committee on Franchising and the International Franchise Association.  

Best Lawyers has been publishing its list of top-tier lawyers for the past three decades. The journal is one of the most esteemed publications in the legal profession.
