EDWARDSVILLE — A Glen Carbon man faces a lawsuit over fatally shooting a house guest.
Leah Flack, on behalf of the estate of Steven Flack, filed the complaint on July 31 in Madison County Circuit Court against Steven McGauley.
According to the complaint, McGauley shot and killed Flack on Sept. 3, 2017, at McGauley's home at 110 Hillcrest Dr. Before his death, the complaint states, Flack suffered great pain and anguish of body and mind.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $50,000. She is represented by Gregory Tobin of Pratt & Tobin in East Alton.
