EDWARDSVILLE — Missouri resident is suing a Madison County driver for allegedly causing a collision on McKinley Bridge.

Corey Howard filed a complaint on Aug. 1 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Kathleen Ramsey, alleging she breached her duty to operate her vehicle with the highest degree of care.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 8, he was traveling westbound on McKinley Bridge at its intersection with North Broadway when Ramsey carelessly crossed the center line and collided with his vehicle.

Howard claims he sustained injuries that are permanent, disabling and progressive.

The plaintiff holds Ramsey responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to yield the right of way, failed to maintain a careful lookout and failed to keep her vehicle within a single lane.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $50,000, plus costs of this action and any additional relief deemed just and proper. He is represented by John L. Wilbers of The Wilbers Law Firm LLC in St. Louis.
