EDWARDSVILLE — A motorist is suing another driver for allegedly causing a collision on Collinsville Road.

Tomasa Sanchez filed a complaint on July 31 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Skylyn Ann Raynor, alleging she negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 21, 2017, she was traveling southbound on Sand Praire Lane at its intersection with Collinsville Road when Raynor struck her vehicle.

Sanchez claims she sustained disabling and extensive injuries to her head, neck, shoulder and low back.

The plaintiff holds Raynor responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to maintain careful lookout and failed to take evasive actions to avoid a collision.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in an amount of not less than $50,000, plus costs of this action. She is represented by John H. Hustava of John H. Hustava PC in Collinsville.
