EDWARDSVILLE — A Collinsville resident blames two motorists for causing a collision at a stop light.
Lindsey Lanman filed a complaint on July 23 in Madison County Circuit Court against Anthony Dietz and Matthew McPeak, alleging they failed to operate their respective vehicles in a careful and prudent manner.
According to the complaint, Lanman was stopped at the intersection of Gerber Road and Governor's Parkway in Edwardsville when Dietz struck the rear of McPeak's vehicle, causing it to strike the plaintiff's vehicle. Lanman blames Dietz for allegedly speeding and McPeak for following her vehicle too closely.
Lanman seeks a jury trial and damages against both drivers. She is represented by Lanny Darr of Darr Law Offices in Alton.
