BELLEVILLE — A Lovejoy nightclub faces a lawsuit after an alleged drunk patron caused a motor vehicle crash.
Patricia Quattlebaum filed the complaint on July 17 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Phillips-Garrett Inc., operator of the Pink Slip Exotic Bar, and Madison Garrett, who holds the liquor license. Quattlebaum alleges they violated the Dram Shop Act.
According to the complaint, Quattlebaum was a passenger when nightclub patron Roderick Singleton crashed. Quattlebaum says she suffered injuries to her neck, hip, back, face, arms, legs, hands, feet and chest.
