BELLEVILLE — A motorcycle crash on State Route 158 in Millstadt has prompted a lawsuit.
Dakota Hornbeck filed a complaint on July 20 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Raymond Love, alleging that the driver failed to keep his vehicle under proper control.
According to the complaint, Love collided with Hornbeck's motorcycle in Millstadt. The impact threw Hornbeck from his motorcycle, the complaint states. Hornbeck claims he suffered injuries to his chest, back, head, body and limbs. Hornbeck says Love failed to yield and did not use a turn signal.
Hornbeck requests a jury trial and damages of more than $50,000. He is represented by Jason R. Caraway and Daniel G. Broombaugh of Caraway, Fisher & Broombaugh in Belleville.
