BELLEVILLE — Two homeowners allege a general contractor breached a new construction real estate contract.
Lori Schieppe and Douglas Schieppe filed a complaint on July 6 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Innovative Construction Services Inc.
According to the complaint, the Schieppes took possession of a home from Construction Services under the pretense that the company obtained a residency permit for the property. Yet, the permit was never received and the Schiepes noted numerous defects with the home, the complaint states.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek award for all damages. They are represented by Megan M. Gilbrath of Blake Behme Gilbreth Links in Belleville.
