BELLEVILLE — Two St. Clair County residents blame a woman for causing a motor vehicle crash.

Amanda Tabor & Rodney Tabor filed a complaint on June 19 in St. Clair County Circuit Court against Doris Webster-Clay, alleging that the driver failed to stop at the stop light.

According to the complaint, Webster-Clay slammed into the Tabors' vehicle as they passed through the intersection at Missouri Avenue and Ninth Street. They sustained injuries to their necks, backs, shoulders, arms and legs, the complaint states. The Tabors claim Doris Webster-Clay was speeding and did not stop at a red light.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and more than $50,000 in damages. They are represented by Benjamin J. Sansone of Sansone, Sumner & Lauber in Clayton.
