EDWARDSVILLE – A driver alleges she was injured when her vehicle was struck on Interstate 55 in Madison County.

Joice M. Tweedy filed a complaint on June 27 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Jonathon R. Walls alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in May 28, she was involved in an auto accident on Interstate 55 near Hamel due to the carelessness of the defendant. She alleges she sustained severe and permanent injuries to her body and incurred medical expenses, lost wages and loss employment benefits.

The plaintiff holds Walls responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to yield to the right of way, failed to keep a proper lookout and failed to reduce speed or stop to avoid a collision.

The plaintiff seeks judgment in her favor of more than $50,000 and costs of this action.

She is represented by Brian M. Wendler, Angie M. Zinzilieta and Paul E.H. Rademacher of Wendler Law PC in Edwardsville.
