Cincinnati Indemnity allegedly failed to respond to arbitration demand

EDWARDSVILLE – A man injured in an auto accident alleges his insurer has failed to respond to his demand for arbitration.

Kenneth Outhouse filed a complaint on June 27 in the Madison County Circuit Court against The Cincinnati Indemnity Co. alleging breach of insurance contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 28, 2016, he was involved in an auto accident with Dugger Swimming Pools' vehicle and filed an underinsured motorist claim with the defendant. He alleges he demanded arbitration per the terms of the insurance contract but the defendant has not responded.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount of more than $50,000.
