Passenger sues several drivers following collision

Car accident 26

BELLEVILLE — A Cahokia man is suing several motorists for allegedly causing a collision.

Earnest Sutton filed a complaint on June 20 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Henry Gallegos, Katherine E. Baumgartner and Cheryl Sutton, alleging they failed to maintain proper control of their vehicles.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 23, 2016, he was a passenger in the vehicle driven by Cheryl Sutton when they where involved in a collision with the other defendants.

Earnest Sutton claims he sustained serious and permanent injuries to his left shoulder and neck, resulting in extreme pain and suffering and medical expenses.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to maintain careful lookout and failed to take evasive actions at the first appearance of danger.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in a fair and reasonable amount in excess of the minimum jurisdiction of the court and all further relief that is fair and reasonable.

He is represented by Patrick Hinnrichs of The Bradley Law Firm in St. Louis.
