BELLEVILLE — A motorist is suing another driver for allegedly causing a rear-end collision.

Martenia Jones filed a complaint on June 7 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against David Wolfe, alleging he failed to exercise reasonable care while operating a motor vehicle.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 9, 2016, she was operating her motor vehicle on West Boulevard near its intersection with Cardinal Drive when Wolfe rear-ended her vehicle.

Jones claims she sustained injuries to her neck, arm and back.

The plaintiff alleges Wolfe followed her vehicle too closely, failed to maintain careful lookout and failed to stop or swerve to avoid striking her vehicle.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $50,000, and any further relief that are just and proper.

She is represented by Mark A. Cantor of Cantor Injury Law LLC in St. Louis.
