BELLEVILLE — A passenger is suing several drivers after he was allegedly injured in a collision on Green Mount Common Drive.
Arnold Stewart filed a complaint on May 29 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Suttachit Cholsakorn, Corey Hemsath and Saron Spearman, alleging they failed to exercise ordinary care for the safety of others on the road.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 6, 2016, he was a passenger in a vehicle operated by Spearman on Green Mount Common Drive near its intersection with North Green Mount Road when Cholsakorn and Hemsath struck the vehicle in which he was a passenger.
Stewart claims he sustained serious injuries to his chest, right leg, right knee, back, head and neck.
The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to pay proper attention on the road and failed to take evasive actions to avoid collision.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $50,000, plus costs of this action.
