Former Dawson Healthcare Solutions employee alleges wrongful termination

Wrongful term 11

EDWARDSVILLE — A woman is suing her former employer for allegedly terminating her employment after she reported workplace harassment.

Carrie Sanders filed a complaint May 22 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Dawson Healthcare Solutions, alleging unlawful employment practices.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 14, 2017, she was unlawfully terminated from her employment. She claims Dawson Healthcare failed to cease harassment despite numerous requests to do so, discriminated against her and terminated her employment in retaliation for reporting workplace harassment.

As a result, Sanders claims she has suffered a loss of normal life and lost income and employment opportunities.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 and all other relief as the court deems fit.

She is represented by Jason R. Caraway of Caraway, Fisher & Broombaugh PC in Belleville.
