EDWARDSVILLE — A healthcare provider is suing John A. Smith, a patient, for alleged breach of contract.
Multi-Care Specialists SC filed a complaint on May 10 in the Madison County Circuit Court, alleging that the defendant failed to comply with his contractual obligations.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that it rendered services to the defendant on Feb. 24, 2017 in the amount of $69,812.77. The defendant allegedly agreed to pay the amount, but he allegedly has failed to make any payments.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in the amount of $69,812.77, plus interest, costs, attorney's fees and any further relief that the court deems just. The plaintiff is represented by Teri L. Havron of Goldenberg Heller & Antognoli PC in Edwardsville.
