EDWARDSVILLE — A passenger is suing two drivers for allegedly causing a Morrison Road collision.
Janet Denson filed a complaint on May 17 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Michelle Pacheco and Christina Spink, alleging they failed to exercise ordinary care while operating their respective vehicles.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 24, 2017, she was a passenger in a Pontiac Grand Am driven by Pacheco. They were traveling west on Morrison Road when Pacheco allegedly failed to yield and Spink failed to stop or reduce speed, colliding with Pacheco's vehicle.
Denson claims she suffered injuries to her neck, back, right shoulder and right arm.
The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to maintain proper lookout and failed to use evasive maneuvers to avoid a collision.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount in excess of $50,000, plus costs of suit and all other relief deemed necessary and just.
She is represented by Aaron M. Vogel of Schultz & Myers LLC in St. Louis.
