Driver alleges injuries from Shiloh collision

BELLEVILLE — A driver claims he was injured in a collision on an Interstate 64 exit in Shiloh.

BELLEVILLE — A driver claims he was injured in a collision on an Interstate 64 exit in Shiloh. 

Joshua J. Dumont filed a complaint on April 11 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Diana L. Harker, alleging negligence. 

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 8, 2017, he was exiting Interstate 64 at or near its intersection with Greenmount Road in Shiloh when Harker struck the rear of his vehicle. 

Dumont claims he suffered injuries that resulted in medical expenses, pain and loss of normal life. 

The plaintiff alleges Harker negligently drove her vehicle faster than reasonable, failed to keep proper lookout and failed to reduce speed at the intersection.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in excess of $50,000, plus costs of court.
