Man sues over Chouteau Township crash

EDWARDSVILLE — A motorist is suing another driver for allegedly causing a collision in Chouteau Township.

Tyler Admire filed a complaint on May 8 in the Madison County Circuit Court against David Richard Ladnier, alleging he breached his duty to exercise reasonable care for the safety of others.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 14, 2017, he was traveling on Illinois Route 255 in Chouteau Township when Ladnier drove into the rear of his vehicle. 

Admire claims he sustained injuries to his neck, shoulder and back. 

The plaintiff alleges Ladnier failed keep his vehicle under proper control, failed to maintain careful lookout and followed his vehicle more closely than reasonable.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in an amount greater than $50,000, plus costs of this action.
