EDWARDSVILLE — A motorist claims another driver failed to yield the right of way, causing a Pontoon Beach collision.

Schae Rickets filed a complaint on May 8 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Antonia Fenoglio, alleging she breached her duty to exercise reasonable care for the safety of others on the roadway.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 6, 2017, she was driving a motor vehicle westbound on South Street in Ponton Beach when Fenoglio struck her vehicle.

Rickets claims she sustained severe injuries to her head, neck, shoulders, arms and back.

The plaintiff alleges Fenoglio failed to maintain a careful lookout, failed to yield the right of way and failed to take evasive actions at the first appearance of danger.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $50,000, plus all further relief the court may deem necessary.

She is represented by Justin Summary of The Summary Law Firm in St. Louis.
