Motorist sues over Lebanon collision

Car accident 29

BELLEVILLE — A motorist is suing another driver for allegedly causing a collision in Lebanon.

Bret Prange filed a complaint on May 3, in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Brittany Durant alleging that the other driver failed to keep her vehicle under proper control.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 31, 2017, he was injured when Durant struck his vehicle while traveling on Belleville Street near its intersection with US Highway 50 in Lebanon.

Prange claims he suffered pain and mental anguish and incurred medical expenses.

The plaintiff alleges Durant failed to keep proper lookout, failed to operate her vehicle at a reasonable speed and failed to reduce speed to avoid colliding with other vehicles.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in his favor in an amount that is reasonable and just, plus court costs.

He is represented by Alvin C. Paulson of Alvin C. Paulson, Attorney at Law in Belleville.
