Motorist alleges injuries from Collinsville crash

Car accident 04

EDWARDSVILLE — A driver claims he was injured in a Collinsville collision.

Eric V. Harr filed a complaint on April 26 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Phillip E. Clutts and Anastasia Sapronova, alleging they breached their duties to exercise the highest degree of care while driving their vehicles.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 16, 2016, he was traveling west on Collinsville Road approaching its intersection with Simpson Road when the defendants carelessly operated their vehicles and caused them to strike his vehicle.

Harr claims he suffered severe and permanent injuries to his neck, shoulder and back.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants negligently drove their respective vehicles in excess of the posted speed limits, failed to keep proper lookout and failed to stop or reduce speed to avoid a collision.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgement against the defendants in an amount of more than $50,000, plus costs of this action.

He is represented by Stephen C. Buser of Law Office of Stephen C. Buser Ltd. in Columbia.
