BELLEVILLE — A woman claims she was injured when a driver lost control of his vehicle.
Sherry Weaver filed a complaint April 27 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Daryl Mantz alleging he failed to exercise the highest degree of care while driving.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 23, she was driving east on Stolle Road in Dupo when the defendant lost control of his vehicle and struck her vehicle. She claims her right knee, right elbow, right shoulder, chest, head, neck and back were injured.
The plaintiff holds Mantz responsible because he allegedly negligently crossed the center lane, failed to maintain proper lookout and failed to reduce his speed, stop or swerve to avoid a collision.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in excess of $50,000, plus costs of court and all other relief that are just and necessary.
She is represented by Aaron M. Vogel of Schultz & Myers LLC in St. Louis.
