Motorist alleges injuries following St. Clair County collision

Car accident 21

BELLEVILLE — A motorist is suing another driver for allegedly causing a collision, resulting in injuries.

Alvin Tolan filed a complaint on April 17 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Jessica Williams, Napolian Williams and Brenda Williams, alleging that Napolian Williams and Brenda Williams negligently entrusted their vehicle to Jessica Williams.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 23, 2016, Jessica Williams caused a collision while driving a vehicle owned by Brenda and Napolian Williams.

Tolan claims he suffered injuries to his lower back and neck that required medical treatment.

The plaintiff alleges Jessica Williams failed to keep proper lookout and failed to slacken speed, swerve or stop her vehicle to avoid a collision.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in an amount that is fair and reasonable, plus costs and expenses herein expended.

He is represented by Julia Kerr of The Bradley Law Firm in St. Louis.
