Motorist alleges injuries from St. Clair County collision

BELLEVILLE — A motorist alleges an employee of One Hour Electric negligently caused a collision. 

Janice Tumbs filed a complaint on April 9 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against One Hour Electric Inc. and James R. Hickman, alleging One Hour, by and through its agent Hickman, failed to exercise reasonable care.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 3, Hickman negligently caused a collision while acting as an agent of One Hour Electric. 

Tumbs claims she suffered injuries to numerous parts of her body and incurred medical expenses. 

She alleges the defendants failed to keep his vehicle under control, failed to keep proper lookout and failed to yield the right of way. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendants in a fair and reasonable amount exceeding $50,000, plus costs of suit.
