Motorist sues over O'Fallon collision

Car accident 41

BELLEVILLE — A motorist alleges another driver caused an O'Fallon collision.

Rhonda Nealy filed a complaint on March 15 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Walter Lewinsky alleging he failed to maintain control of the vehicle he was driving.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 20, 2016, she was driving her vehicle west on West Highway 50 in O'Fallon when the defendant negligently attempted to make a left turn and collided in front of her vehicle.

As a result, Nealy claims she suffered injuries to her neck, shoulder and back, incurred medical expenses and lost wages.

The plaintiff alleges Lewinsky failed to keep proper lookout, failed to yield right of way and violated the traffic signal.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount greater than $50,000 and all other relief that are just and proper.

She is represented by Gary K. Burger of Burger Law in St. Louis.
