Residential care provider sues over unpaid services

EDWARDSVILLE — A residential care service provider is suing over alleged unpaid services. 

Faith Care LLC, also known as Faith Countryside Homes, filed a complaint on March 23 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Charles Bersin and Barbara Bersin, alleging that failed to perform their contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 23, 2017, it provide residential care and services to Barbara Bersin. However, as of Jan. 3, 2018, the outstanding amount of $80,227.62 remains unpaid, the suit states. 

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed and refused to tender payments for the said amount.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in the amount of $80,227.62, plus interest, costs, attorney's fees and any further relief as the court may deem proper and just. 

It is represented by Brendan M. Nester, Michael J. Nester and Jason M. Gourley of Donovan Rose Nester PC in Belleville.
