EDWARDSVILLE — A man is suing a Collinsville tavern after intoxicated patrons allegedly assaulted him.

Finis Allen filed a complaint on March 20 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Wild In., Eric Kinkle, Austin Thilan and Peter Tobak, alleging Wild violated the Dram Shop Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 6, 2016, he was a patron at the Wild tavern in the Collinsville when he was punched and kicked by Kinkle, Thilan and Tobak.

As a result, Allen claims he sustained serious, permanent and disabling injuries resulting in pain, loss of normal life, medical expenses and loss of capacity to earn income.

The plaintiff alleges Wild negligently sold, gave and served alcoholic beverages to intoxicated individuals.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $50,000, plus costs of this action and such other relief as the court deems just and equitable.

He is represented by John Turner of John Turner Law Offices in Belleville.
