Car accident 33

EDWARDSVILLE — A motorist is suing a vehicle owner and a driver following a collision on Interstate 55.

Brian Little filed a complaint March 20 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Janelle L. Bristow and Quinton Patrick Bristow, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 22, 2016, he was driving southbound on Interstate 55 near Trio Lane in Hamel Township when Quinton Bristow struck the rear of his vehicle.

Little claims he sustained severe and permanent injuries to his head, neck, back, shoulders, extremities and other parts of his body.

The plaintiff alleges Quinton Bristow drove faster than reasonable and failed to keep the vehicle under proper control. He also alleges Janelle Bristow negligently entrusted her vehicle to Quinton Bristow.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $50,000, plus costs of this action.

He is represented by Justin B. Mattea of Justin B. Mattea Law LLC in Maryville.
