BELLEVILLE — An assignee is suing an investment fund, citing alleged failure to pay.
Ritchie Risk-Linked Opportunities LLC filed a complaint March 5 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Ritchie Risk-Linked Strategies LLC, alleging it failed to fulfill its obligations under an agreement.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff claims that Ritchie Multi-Strategy Global Ltd. assigned to the plaintiff the right to collect $1 million from the defendant, which the plaintiff alleges has not been paid.
The plaintiff holds Ritchie Risk-Linked Strategies responsible because the defendant allegedly has defaulted on its financial obligations.
The plaintiff seeks a judgment against the defendant for $1 million plus costs of this action. It is represented by John E. Sabo of Clayborne, Sabo & Wagner LLP in Belleville.
