Man alleges he was injured in Alorton parking lot collision

Car accident 17

BELLEVILLE – A motorist claims a Swansea woman drove too fast for the conditions and caused a collision in an Alorton parking lot.

Winfred Sanders filed a complaint on Feb. 20 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Kedriunna French, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 8, 2016, he was driving his 1997 Chevy pickup truck in the parking lot of Pops Liquor in Alorton. While waiting to pull into a parking space, the suit states the defendant suddenly pulled out from a parking spot and struck his vehicle.

Sanders alleges he sustained severe, permanent and progressive injuries to his head, neck, back, legs and his person as a whole.

The plaintiff holds French responsible because the defendant allegedly carelessly drove her vehicle too fast for the condition and failed to be attentive.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $50,000, plus costs of this action.

He is represented by Aaron D. Lefton of Law Offices of Jerome L.T. Lefton LLC in St. Louis.
