Motorist alleges injuries from Collinsville rear-end collision

EDWARDSVILLE – The motorist alleges another driver was distracted when she caused a rear-end collision in Collinsville.

Bridget Patrick filed a complaint on Feb. 16 in the Madison County Circuit Court against the Lauren Zamarione and Eric Zamarione, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 9, 2016, she was in her 2015 Nissan Versa traveling north on Keebler Road near or at its intersection with Camelot in Collinsville when she was struck from behind by a 1997 Mercedes Benz driven by Lauren Zamarione. The suit states the defendant's vehicle was owned by Eric Zamarione. 

Patrick claims she suffered bodily injuries, disability, medical expenses, loss of income and pain and suffering. 

The plaintiff alleges Lauren Zamarione drove the vehicle at a speed greater than reasonable, failed to keep a proper lookout and drove while distracted.

The plaintiff seeks judgment in her favor for actual damages of more than $50,000, plus costs court.
