BELLEVILLE – An Office Depot customer alleges he was injured when he was struck by automatic doors at the store.

Walter Hood filed a complaint on Jan. 25 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Office Depot Inc. and Miner Fleet Management LLC, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 7, 2016, he was exiting the defendants' Office Depot store in Belleville when he was struck by an automatic door, causing him to be injured.

As a result, he alleges he received injuries to his neck, shoulder and other parts of his body and was caused to suffer disability, pain and suffering and medical care and treatment services.

He is represented by Aaron J. Chappell of Becker, Hoerner, Thompson & Ysursa PC in Belleville.
