EDWARDSVILLE – A woman alleges she was injured when her vehicle was rear-ended while traveling in Madison County.
Patricia A. Taylor filed a complaint on Jan. 29 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Marvin T. Boyd, alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 15, 2016, she was traveling northbound on St. Louis Road in Madison County when her vehicle was struck in the rear by the defendant's vehicle.
She alleges she suffered severe injuries, pain, loss of enjoyment of life, medical expenses and disability.
The plaintiff alleges Boyd failed to reduce speed, failed to yield to the right of way and failed to use evasive maneuvers to avoid the collision.
The plaintiff seeks judgment against the defendant in an amount of more than $50,000, plus court costs and all other relief the court deems just and proper.
