BELLEVILLE – A Centreville mother and daughter are seeking damages from a driver after a collision on Interstate 255.
Trinity Paulette, a minor, by and through her mother Tiffany Paulette, and Tiffany Paulette filed a complaint on Jan. 16 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Patrick M. Donnelly, alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Jan. 15, 2016, Trinity Paulette was a passenger in a motor vehicle being driven by Damien Stanley when Donnelly negligently caused his vehicle to collide with Stanley's vehicle. The suit states the collision took place on Interstate 255 in St. Clair County.
As a result, Trinity Paulette allegedly sustained numerous, severe and disabling injuries, resulting in physical and mental pain and medical care and treatment expenses.
The plaintiffs allege Donnelly failed to keep his vehicle under proper control, failed to maintain careful lookout and failed to yield to the right of way.
The plaintiffs seek damages of more than $50,000, plus costs of this action.
