BELLEVILLE – A Waterloo man alleges he was injured on a jobsite because of unsafe working conditions.
Charles Miller filed a complaint on Dec. 27, 2017, in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Budrovich and Ameren, alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff was employed by Keely Construction and was working on an Ameren construction project under Budrovich's control. Miller alleges he was injured on the jobsite on Jan. 27, 2016, when he stepped through ice.
He claims he sustained injuries that resulted in pain and suffering, medical expenses, lost wages and disability.
The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to maintain the area free from hazards and failed to warn him of the dangerous work condition.
The plaintiff seeks damages of no less than $50,000 plus costs of this action.
