BELLEVILLE – A pickup driver alleges a Marissa woman rear-ended her truck in St. Clair County on Christmas in 2015.
Jena Guldner filed a complaint on Dec. 20, in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Camille A. Weber, alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 25, 2015, she was operating a 2004 Chevrolet pickup truck eastbound on Floraville Road. She was stopped to make a left turn when the defendant rear-ended her vehicle.
As a result, Guldner alleges she sustained serious and permanent injuries that caused her to suffer pain and suffering, medical expenses and lost wages.
The plaintiff alleges Weber failed to keep a proper lookout and failed to stop, reduce speed and take evasive actions to avoid a collision.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $50,000, plus interest, costs and any other relief that the court deems necessary.
