Car accident 09

EDWARDSVILLE – A Moro woman is seeking damages following a rear-end collision in Bethalto.

Leanne Roe filed a complaint on Dec. 20 in the Madison County Circuit Court against Megan Snider, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 11, 2016, she was operating her 2015 Kia Optima and was stopped in the eastbound direction on Illinois Route 140 at its intersection with Illinois Route 111 in Bethalto when the defendant struck the rear of her vehicle.

Roe alleges she sustained painful injuries to her neck, hips, back, knees and other parts of her body.

The plaintiff alleges Snider negligently drove her vehicle while distracted, failed to maintain a careful lookout and failed to stop at a red light traffic signal.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in an amount greater than $50,000, plus costs of this suit.

She is represented by Michael P. Glisson and Taylor N. Fehrenz of Williamson, Webster, Falb & Glisson in Alton.
