BELLEVILLE – A St. Clair County woman alleges she fell on landscaping stones while exiting an O'Fallon Texas Roadhouse restaurant.

Irene Pearson filed a complaint on Sept. 22 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Texas Roadhouse Inc. and Texas Roadhouse of O'Fallon IL LLC, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 27, 2015, while she was exiting the O'Fallon Texas Roadhouse restaurant, she stepped on the landscaping stones on the sidewalk and fell.

She alleges she sustained injuries that caused her to suffer disfigurement, disability and incur medical expenses.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants negligently created a slip hazard by failing to keep the sidewalks free from debris.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in her favor in an amount of more than $50,000, plus costs of this action and any further relief as the court may deem just and proper.

She is represented by Eric W. Evans of Evans Blasi in Granite City.
