BELLEVILLE – Two individuals allege they were injured when their vehicle was rear-ended in St. Clair County.
Theresa M. Overby and Maurice E. Gammon filed a complaint on Sept. 22 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Terrence T. Willis, alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Sept. 23, 2015, the plaintiffs were in a motor vehicle traveling north on Northern Illinois Street when the defendant negligently struck the rear of their vehicle. They claim they sustained injuries to their necks, backs and other parts of their bodies.
The plaintiffs allege Willis failed to keep a proper lookout, failed to use proper caution and failed to yield.
The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek damages of more than $50,000, plus interest, costs of this suit and all further relief that the court may deem just and proper.
