BELLEVILLE – A St. Clair County motorist is seeking damages following a multi-vehicle collision.
Ricky Greer Jr. filed a complaint on Sept. 8 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against James Hooker, alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 10, 2015, he was driving a 2013 BMW heading south on Lebanon Avenue. At the same time, the defendant was operating a 2002 Dodge Neon when he negligently struck the rear of a vehicle that then struck the plaintiff's vehicle.
The plaintiff alleges he sustained numerous injuries to his body and nervous system that caused him to suffer medical related expenses, loss of earnings, pain and suffering and loss of enjoyment of life.
The plaintiff alleges Hooker failed to keep his vehicle under proper control and failed to avoid colliding with other vehicles on the road.
The plaintiff seeks damages of more than $50,000, plus costs of the suit.
