Woman alleges Centreville driver negligently caused collision

Car accident 41

BELLEVILLE – A driver is seeking damages from a Centreville resident over alleged injuries sustained in a collision.

Yvonne Carril filed a complaint on Aug. 28 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Jamari Ward, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 14, 2016, she was severely and permanently injured when she was involved in a collision negligently caused by defendant.

She alleges she sustained injuries to her lower extremities, chest and right wrist and was caused to suffer extreme pain, medical expenses and lost wages.

The plaintiff alleges Ward failed to maintain careful lookout, failed to signal his intention to turn and failed to yield to the right-of-way.

The plaintiff seeks damages in excess of the court's minimum threshold and such other relief that is reasonable under the premises.

She is represented by Julia Kerr of The Bradley Law Firm in St. Louis.
