Man alleges injuries after driver struck his vehicle on I-64

BELLEVILLE – A motorist is seeking damages after he was struck while traveling on Interstate 64.

Mohsin Mohsin filed a complaint on Aug. 22 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Leah Brandon, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 29, he was driving on I-64 in Caseyville Township when Brandon abruptly changed lanes and collided with his vehicle. 

Mohsin claims he sustained severe, serious and permanent injuries resulting in physical and mental pain, loss of earning capacity and has incurred necessary medical expenses. 

The plaintiff alleges Brandon failed to maintain a careful lookout for other vehicles on the road and failed to keep her vehicle under control.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $50,000, plus costs of this suit.
